What is Consciousness?
While the word Consciousness is difficult to define or describe, at Pure Intent we see Consciousness as "an awareness of the Oneness of the universe and all things, above and beyond the self."
Energy
Energy is vibration, animating all things. It is what powers the body, the universe, the oceans and nature. You can see it. Just look at the aura of any thing. Anything containing atoms - vibration - has an aura. You can feel it. Run your hands slowly a few centimeters above the body. It is most noticeable where there is a disturbance caused by illness or injury.
Energy / Vibration is exists through out the universe and all things are fundamentality energy.
Energy is positive or negative and is transmitted from one thing to another.
Notice how you feel when you are in the company of a person you would consider to be positive and how you feel when you are in the company with a person you would consider negative. The difference in the effects of the energy on yourself can be easily felt.
Positive and negative energy has an effect on everything, including food and water, as demonstrated by Dr Emoto's experiments.
About Water
Mild dehydration will slow down metabolism by as much as 3 percent. A University of Washington study showed that one glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100 percent of dieters. A mere 2 percent drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short term memory, trouble with basic maths, and difficulty focusing on a printed page or computer screen. Drinking 5 glasses of water a day decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45 percent, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79 percent.
Thirst not always a gauge.
If you are healthy and not dehydrated, you can generally use your thirst as an indicator of when you need to drink, however the older you are or the more dehydrated you are the less you are able to sense that you are thirsty.
Water and weight loss.
The body will not function properly without enough water and can't metabolize stored fat efficiently. Water is an important catalyst for weight loss. Water naturally suppresses the appetite and helps the body metabolize stored fat. Studies have shown that a decrease in water intake will cause fat deposits to increase, while an increase in water intake can actually reduce fat deposits.
Water will also help maintain proper muscle tone, help rid the body of waste, especially during weight loss, and can help normalize bowel function.
How much?
On average we need about 6-8 glasses a day although larger people need more. Any fluid loss through sweating needs to be replaced. Sweating can be caused by exercise, or any physical activity or hot and humid weather. Symptoms of illness such as vomiting and diarrhea can also cause fluid loss so drink more water if you are suffering from these. Pregnant and breast feeding women need extra water to stay adequately hydrated. Make a conscious effort to stay hydrated and choose water over other drinks such as carbonated soft drinks. If you drink from a bottle, clean it regularly and replace it often.

The human body can survive for weeks without food but only a few days without water.
We are water and water is essential for life.

Water Crystals
Dr Masaru Emoto
Dr Emoto's studies have shown how words and music can affect the structure of the water. For a brief moment just prior to freezing, the water will form a beautiful crystal when exposed to certain words and music, and similarly will not form a crystal, or the crystal will be deformed when exposed to negative words.
Very simply put, drinking water that has been influenced by a beautiful, positive word sends the message of the word directly to the cells of your body.
Dr Masaru Emoto hails from Japan and in the late 1980's began to study water. After extensive research Dr Emoto concluded that water takes in information and its quality changes accordingly.
Looking for a way to prove his theory he decided to freeze water and look at the crystals. In September 1994 he successfully photographed his first crystal. Go to the links page to access sites showing beautiful photographs of water crystals.
Dr Emoto then decided to study and photograph different types of water, natural water, tap water and mineral water. The different types of water produced different crystal formations and on top of this Dr Emoto began to realise that the difference in crystal formation was influenced by other information it received.
Testing this discovery he began attaching labels with various words, to the container holding the water in such a way that the water could see the word. Dr Emoto tested this theory many times and it became clear that words did indeed influence the structure of the water, and that this could be seen in the crystals that formed when the water was frozen.
Dr Emoto also tested this using words in other languages, without his assistants knowing what the words were. This was to ensure that the water was not somehow affected by the intent of the people around and only by the word attached to the container.
So what then, are we drinking? And, being mostly water ourselves - approximately 70% - how does that affect us?
